The Indianapolis Star para Hillary
A sólo cuatro días de la primaria de Indiana, la Senadora Hillary Clinton se ha hecho con la bendición del The Indianapolis Star, el periódico de mayor tirada del estado, con unos 255,000 ejemplares diarios. Propiedad de la Gannett Company, el Star fue en el pasado una de las joyas del imperio periodístico de Eugene Pulliam, abuelo del ex Vicepresidente Dan Quayle. El periódico cita en su editorial los tópicos de siempre en estos casos: la mayor experiencia de Clinton. Pero reprende a ambos candidatos demócratas por sus posturas populistas sobre acuerdos de libre comercio. As impressive as Obama appears, he is still in his first term in the U.S. Senate, and only four years ago was serving as an Illinois state senator. His inexperience in high office is a liability.
Clinton, in contrast, is well prepared for the rigors of the White House. She is tough, experienced and realistic about what can and cannot be accomplished on the world stage.
