One obvious choice is Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. She’s as near to Cheney on policy as she is far from him symbolically. Rice, however, has consistently denied interest. While such denials are par for the course for prospective veeps, if Rice is indeed out of the mix, that would leave McCain with three other likely female running mates to consider:

Antxon, ¿cuál es la postura de la gobernadora de Alaska sobre la propuesta de la Casa Blanca (esta vez más en serio que otras veces) de iniciar la explotación masiva del petróleo de Alaska?
Lo digo por si tiene alguna influencia en la elección de vicepresidente/a, sobre todo viendo la cierta preocupación ecologista que parece que quiere transmitir McCain.
Palin creo que está a favor de la explotación petrolera del Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre del Ártico.
Ojo con esa mujer. Está sonando muy fuerte. Parecía que sería una serpiente de verano, pero ya son muchos los que apeustan por ella. Dicen que es dinamita. Aunque finalmente no sea la candidata a VP, no hay que descartar que todo este movimiento favorable a sus elección pudiera culminar en una candidatura presidencial propia para 2012.
